Highway Signs Certified in Accordance with Supplement 1092
Highway Sign materials meeting the Department’s Construction and Materials Specifications 630.04, 730.11 through 730.23, standards or plans will be acceptable for direct shipment and immediate use in construction projects. Producer/suppliers conforming to this supplement’s requirements are authorized to provide sign materials under certification. This supplement makes no changes or revisions of any ODOT, ASTM or AASHTO specifications for these materials.
Certification of a sign does not eliminate the Project Engineer’s authority to inspect and reject any, or all, certified signs delivered to the jobsite with excessive defects, damage or that do not meet specifications.
