Lumber Certified in Accordance with Supplement 1072
Pressure treated lumber materials meeting the material's requirements of ODOT Construction and Materials Specifications, 710.12, 710.14, 711.26, 712.06 and/or 713.19, standards, or plans will be acceptable for direct shipment and immediate use in construction projects. Producer/suppliers conforming to this supplement are authorized to provide prestress treated lumber material products under certification. This supplement makes no changes or revisions to any ODOR, ASTM or AASHTO specifications or the applicable sections of the Department’s Construction and Materials Specifications 507, 517, 521, 606, 607, 632,710, 711, 712, 713 725 or 732. Producer/suppliers Certification suppliers will direct ship lumber items to ODOT projects. Certified materials are not transferable.
Certification of a lumber product does not eliminate the Project Engineer’s authority to inspect and reject any, or all, certified lumber products delivered to the jobsite with excessive defects, damage or that do not meet specifications.
