Plastic Pipe certified in accordance with Supplement 1066
September 23, 2010
Corrugated Polyethylene Plastic Pipe meeting the Department’s Construction and Materials Specifications, 707.31, 707.32 and/or 707.33, standards or plans will be acceptable for direct shipment and immediate use in construction projects. Producer/suppliers conforming to Supplement 1066’s requirements are authorized to provide Plastic Pipe materials under certification. Plastic Pipe sent to projects will be clearly marked as to size and type and all will be received under the ODOT TE 24 system.
Certification of plastic pipe does not eliminate the project Engineer’s authority to inspect and reject any, or all, certified pipe delivered to the jobsite with excessive defects, damage or that do not meet specifications.
