Sign Supports Certified in Accordance with Supplement 1093
Sign support materials meeting the Department’s Construction and Materials Specifications 630.06, 730.03 through 730.17, standards or plans will be acceptable for direct shipment and immediate use in construction projects. Producer/suppliers conforming to this supplement’s requirements are authorized to provide sign support materials under certification. This supplement makes no changes or revisions of any ODOT, ASTM or AASHTO specifications for these materials.
Certification of a sign support does not eliminate the Project Engineer’s authority to inspect and reject any, or all, certified sign supports delivered to the jobsite with excessive defects, damage or that do not meet specifications.
