The Department has developed a proposed updated document to replace the current Specifications for Consulting Services dated January, 1998. The "Specifications", incorporated by reference in each agreement for professional services, provide much of the legal basis and thereby substantially reduce the agreement text.
Please review the proposed document (provided under the heading "Specifications Revision 2009") and provide any comments on or before Friday October 16, 2009. Comments must be posted to this website - comments submitted through other means will not be considered.
After the Department has received and addressed comments, the revised document will be sent to FHWA for final review and approval. After approval by FHWA, the new document will issued formally and incorporated in agreements authorized after the approval date.
