Description: To provide training on the newly implemented ODOT Railroad Audit Circulars which were effective January 1, 2010. The Circulars apply to the Railroad industry and discuss the fiscal aspects of Railroad projects and the allowability of costs typically incurred and included on invoices submitted to ODOT or ORDC for reimbursement.
This training focuses on the financial and audit perspectives of Railroad projects and targets individuals with responsibilities for:
· preparation of overhead rates;
· project cost estimating;
· contract administration and compliance;
· procurement of engineering, construction and materials;
· project oversight and management;
· invoice preparation, review and approval; and
· project closeout and audit activities.
There is no cost to attend this training session.
