ADS-B rebate program available to Aircraft Owners
FAA has launched a rebate program website for Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) general aviation aircraft owners. Aircraft owner have the opportunity to apply for
a $500 rebate to offset the cost of equipping eligible aircraft. The FAA has 20,000
rebates to issue nationally for one year starting September 19th, 2016 or until all rebates have been claimed.
The rebate is available to owners of
U.S.-registered, fixed-wing, single-engine piston aircraft that were first
registered before January 1, 2016.
