Ohio's airport system consists of 176 public use facilities (airports, heliports, seaplane landing areas) and is supported in part by the Office of Aviation's Airport Improvement Program.  For additional information about Ohio airport laws, landing site approval, and the state's airport improvement program, use the links below.

ODOT heliport - 7456 - 6-6-2014 (2).jpg2A7 is a public use heliport located within the ODOT secured area.  In order for the pickup and drop off of passengers within the secured area, ODOT requires prior coordination to prevent delays.  Please coordinate in advance with ODOT at phone number (614) 752-0228 or via email at the DOT CEN Lobby Desk CEN.LobbyDesk@dot.state.oh.us.
The vehicle used for ground transportation will be required to provide driver and passenger information to the security personnel and will be required to remain outside the secured area until the helicopter arrives.  After the helicopter arrives, the security personnel will allow the vehicle access into the secure area to pick up the passengers.  Upon return for departure, contact the security personnel and they will allow access into and out of the secured area for passenger drop off.
