Related Links

Related Links are a collection of links to websites internal and external that represent how OES operates and processes environmental mandates. The OES staff relies on a collection of sources as well as their own expertise to meet the needs of the consultant community, state and federal agencies and the public. The Ohio Department of Transportation has made a commitment to adhere to and sometimes go beyond the federal mandates and guidelines as well as state legislation that directs our environmental processes as they apply to the transportation system.

All of these links can be found throughout the OES website as the site is divided into topic areas. But the Related Links website is reserved for a collection of links that meet a specific criteria, such as links to legislation or links to related agencies.

We expect this page to be updated frequently, so please check back often as new items will be marked with "New!" tags.

 Manuals & Guidance

Rural Road in Richland County

The Manuals & Guidance Related Links page is divided into documentation written and maintained by OES staff and documentation written and maintained by federal and state agencies. Visit the Manuals & Guidance page to view the collection of environmental polices, procedures, manuals, technical guidance and memorandums written to assist ODOT staff and the vendor community.

The Legislation Related Links, the why behind our manuals and guidance, attempts to bring together all the federal and state legislation that drives environmental processes and operations. Legislation is divided by environmental topic, i.e., Air Quality, Environmental Justice, as well as by federal and state designation. Ohio Statehouse

 Glossary & Acronyms

Cincinnati City Street The Glossary & Acronyms page will be a large collection of definitions, resources and links that OES depends upon daily. This page is in the middle of a major redesign that will result in a search tool specific to the Glossary & Acronyms page as well as an alphabetical listing of terms and acronyms used daily in OES operations and processes. The current Glossary & Acronyms page is just a placeholder until the new Web page is ready to be launched.
