Raymond Brushart
Raymond has been with the Ohio Department of Transportation in Columbus for over 12 years and is currently a Program Manager in the Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP), which is located within the Office of Local Programs. In his work with LTAP he has developed and presented courses in Access Management, Work Zone Traffic Control, Roadway Safety, Township Speed Limit Establishment, and FHWA’s Every Day Counts (EDC) Initiative. He has also instructed courses for ODOT’s Safe Routes to School Program in the development of a Walking School Bus Program and Adult School Crossing Guard Training program.

Previous experience at ODOT includes working as a Studies Engineer within the Bureau of Traffic, where he reviewed and conducted safety studies and traffic impact studies all over the State.

From 1995 through 2009, Raymond worked for the City of Columbus in their Traffic Engineering Division as the Private Development Engineer, where he was involved in reviewing all private development and transportation planning issues within the City from a traffic engineering perspective.

Raymond received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering in 1990 from Ohio University.
