Systems Support Section


This Section is responsible for developing, operating, maintaining, and supporting GIS and Web applications, database management, and computer hardware / software systems.  Also included is computer support for Division staff and Office specific application software installation, configuration, and support.

Other tasks include application and programming support, web site creation, maintenance, and updates, system backups and folder / file retrievals, and server and database support.  In addition, this Section makes recommendations and represents the Office on information technology related issues.

Staff within the Section and their job responsibilities are:

Szufu Ma, Section Manager  -  Responsible for overall management activities for the Systems Support Section

Valoria Slaughter, Electronic Design Specialist  -  Administration and maintenance of web applications, Office web site / page creation, maintenance, and updates, system backups and folder / file retrievals

Yancy Wessell, Information Technologist  -  Administration and maintenance of GIS applications, desktop and laptop computer support, application software installation, and server and database support

 

Karen Goodwin, Electronic Design Specialist -  Administration and maintenance of web applications, website creation and SharePoint application support.
