Tips:

Review ODOT approved School Travel Plan, Active Transportation  Plan, or equivalent plan for countermeasures that most impact connectivity, safety, equity, trips, and are supported and prioritized by the community!

 

Work with your ODOT District SRTS Coordinator to assure the community and ODOT are in agreement with proposed countermeasure.

 

Obtain  a certified cost proposal. Cost overruns will be the responsibility of the applicant

 

 

 

STP Development:

  2. What to learn more about the STP process? Request a FREE 4-hour training in your community through the Active Transportation Academy. (bit/ly/Active-Transportation-Academy-Application)
  3. If a community is interested in obtaining assistance to develop a school travel plan, please apply through the Non-Infrastructure Application.

Develop a detailed cost estimate. Cost overruns will be the responsibility of the applicant. It helps to let us know how you will sustain the program if you are not funded in subsequent years.
