Statewide Planning Public Involvement
ODOT’s Planning Program Public Involvement Process outlines the procedures that the department follows to secure public comment on the development of Access OhioOhio’s statewide transportation plan, the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP), and other regional or corridor transportation planning studies that ODOT conducts.

Securing and responding to public comment is a critical component of ODOT’s transportation planning program.  Effective and informed public comment helps ODOT develop plans that meet Ohio’s existing and future travel needs, while promoting community livability and economic development.
