Three continuous miles are open between the Trailhead (on River Rd 2 miles south of Cleveland Rd., beside the water tower) and Mason Road.

Sandusky Bay Pathway
Path along the edge of Lake Erie provides beautiful views of the lake and of Cedar Point Amusement Park.  Connects 4 public fishing piers, a skate park, five tennis courts, a pavilion, two public parks and our historic downtown.  The 10 foot wide shared use path is concrete, but along Water Street it splits into separate bike lanes and sidewalks.  In 2005, it was designated as part of the Lake Erie Coastal Trail.

The Wabash Cannonball Trail runs on two corridors originally established by the Wabash Railroad. The corridors are gradually being converted to trail use. Open sections are listed to the right.
 
The communities of Montpelier, West Unity, Elmira, Wauseon, Monclova & Maumee are located on the 46-mile northern leg, while Liberty Center, Neapolis & Whitehouse are on the 17-mile southern leg. 
 
Unpaved sections have the original ballast surface, good for mountain biking and hiking. Two sections are closed to all traffic.
