Little Beaver Creek Greenway
Rail Trail. Follows the Little Beaver Creek from the south side of Lisbon through Logtown and continues north to the suburbs of Leetonia. Parking is located at: the south edge of Lisbon, on Lincoln Rd. at SR 164; along Logtown Rd. west of Lisbon; on Eagleton Rd. near Teegarden and the Centennial Covered Bridge; at SR 558 near Franklin Square; and south of SR 344 at Leetonia, on CR 414A.  The portion of the trail washed away in the floods of 2004 will be repaired in spring-early summer, 2005.

Cuyahoga, Summit, Stark, Tuscarawas Counties
Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail
The Ohio and Erie Canal follows the Cuyahoga River from Cleveland to Akron, then the Tuscarawas River to Bolivar.  There is a continuous 37-mile long trail in place between Cleveland and Akron.  South of Akron the path is not continuous, and open sections are varying lengths.  The towpath is unimproved south of Bolivar.  It is planned to eventually extend the towpath to New Philadelphia, the end of the canal.

Ohio and Erie Canal Reservation, Cuyahoga County
The path currently begins at Harvard Road and 49th St., and follows 49th St. south to the Cleveland Metropark named Ohio and Erie Canal Reservation.  The path descends tot he valley and extends south to Rockside Road and the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.  Paved with asphalt.

Harvard Road to Rockside Road 7.2 miles

Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, Cuyahoga and Summit Counties
Pavement changes to limestone when the path crosses into the Cuyahoga Valley National Park at Rockside Road.  It passes a visitor center and crosses a wetland.  The southern limit of the National Park is at Indian Mound, at Bath Road, in Summit County. The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad Train offers a baggage car equipped to carry bicycles for bike and hike trips (call 800-468-4070).  Bike rentals are available in Peninsula (216-526-2209) and Cleveland (216-441-6430).

Holmes County Trail
A unique dual-purpose trail shared with Amish buggies.  Eight feet paved with an adjoining 8 feet chip and seal for horses.  The path extends from Sterling Road in Fredericksburg to Killbuck.  Parking is available a the Fredericksburg Elementary School, Millersburg Depot/Hipp Station, Wal-Mart store in Millersburg and downtown Killbuck. Brinkhaven to Glenmont is open for hiking only, 7.5 miles.  Glenmont to Killbuck is closed for all uses.  Killbuck to Millersburg is open for hiking and mountain biking.
