Transportation Information Management Section (TIMS)The Transportation Information Management Section (formerly GIS / Mapping & Roadway Information) is responsible for collecting, analyzing and disseminating transportation data pertaining to Ohio's Roadway System. This involves collecting and maintaining roadway attribute information on all public roads. In addition, this section is also responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive and integrated Geographic Information System (GIS), incorporating the Department's Linear Referencing System (LRS).

Dave Blackstone, Section Manager - Responsible for overall management activities for the Transportation Information Management Section
Vikki Hankus, GIMs Specialist - Responsible for maintenance / update of ODOT's Roadway Inventory Databases and associated Linear Referencing System (LRS). ODOT's HPMS Coordinator.
Byron Hause, Transportation Technician - Responsible for maintaining Straight Line Diagrams (SLDs) and State Highway System Inventory databases.
Gary Penn, GIMs Specialist - Provides GIS and Mapping services, user support and training.
Aisha Qadri, Cartographer - Provides digitizing & data conversion services.
Matt Thompson, GIMs Specialist - Provides GIS and Mapping services, user support and training. Responsible for production of various Official Map series: State Transportation and County Maps.
Norm Welch, Researcher - Responsible for maintaining Straight Line Diagrams (SLDs), State Highway System Inventory databases and associated Linear Referencing System (LRS). Conducts analysis and creates reports of Roadway Inventory databases in response to requests.

Mike Greenwood, Research Administrator - Roadway Information supervisor. Oversees Annual Mileage Certification Process, HPMS data collection, field activities, and Journal Entries.
Jim Baughman, GIMs Specialist - Roadway Information liaison responsible for research, collection & reporting of roadway inventory data for use in Departments' Annual Mileage Certification Program and Highway Performance Monitoring system (HPMS). Contact for District 1, 5 & 6.
