TAC - Transportation Advisory Committee
Transportation Advisory Committee for Erie County, Ohio. Ottawa County Coordinated Transportation Plan

Greene County Transportation Coordination Council

Clark County Human Services Transportation Council
The Clark County Human Services Transportation Council was recently formed to assist in identifying transportation gaps and service duplications to meet the needs of human service and public transit clients more effectively. The Council merges the resources and expertise of local human service agencies, transportation providers, human service/public transit clientele, and local governments to better understand the provisions and needs in Clark County. The Council meets quarterly and will play a key role in the update of the locally developed Coordinated Plan. The Council will also work to better understand coordination opportunities through shared training, cooperative purchasing, and shared rides.

Regional Access Mobility Partnership
A West Virginia & Ohio two-state coordination effort to solve gaps in transportation services in the Steubenville-Weirton Metropolitan Area.  The RAMP is comprised of two 5307 Small Urban Transit Services and numerous human service agencies operating in Ohio and West Virginia.  Other agencies include Job & Family Services, Community Action Councils, Mental Health Organizations, Senior Services, Community Colleges, Regional Medical Groups and Sheltered Workshops.  The RAMP meets on the last tuesday of every month.

Way To Go
In Washington County, the Way to Go Committee has had a history of working together to improve transportation in Washington County. This committee continues to be the medium for change and improved coordination within Washington County. Members meet quarterly to improve the coordination of services within the Washington County.

LCTB Coordination Sub-Committee
The LCTB is the lead agency of the Coordination Sub-Committee, which is made up of providers and consumers of transportation services, human service agencies and organizations and local government of Licking County. The LCTB offers public transit, contract and overflow transportation services in support of the United We Ride initiative. The Sub-Committee meets monthly to discuss and address various transportation issues. The Sub-Committee is committed to the goal of reducing duplicated transportation services where possible through coordination and consolidation. The Sub-Committee also works together to provide other benefits such as coordinated fare assistance, joint training and joint purchasing opportunities, technical assistance and sharing of other such resources. The LCTB Sub-Committee works closely with the local MPO, the Licking County Area Transportation Study (LCATS), providing essential information for the locally developed Coordinated Plan.

TRIPS Community Advisory Board
The Transportation Resources for Independent People of Sandusky County (TRIPS) is made up of members from Human Service Organizations, Transportation Agencies, Low-income, Disabled, Minority, local government officials, and the general public. Their role is to support the county's coordination efforts, and to make recommendations. The Advisory Board meets quarterly and has been instrumental in the development of the local human service transporation plan and its implementation strategies.

Transit Alliance of Butler County (TABC)
A 501(c)(3) nonprofit governed by an 11 member Board of Directors established to create an effective, efficient and coordinated approach to meet the current and future local and regional transportation needs for Butler County citizens, agencies and businesses. Current Board of Director representation includes City of Hamilton Health Dept, Supports to Encourage Low Income Families (SELF), County Board of DD, County Behavioral Health, BCRTA, Middletown Transit, WorkPlace Associates, and Butler County.

Miami Valley Regional Coordination Council
The Council has approximately 30 members and was formed to provide input on the original Coordination Plan in 2008. The Council is currently acting as the steering committee for the Coordination Plan Update. Council members (and others) also receive electronic updates on issues related to human services transportation and funding opportunities.

Transit Advisory Committee of the Delaware Area Transit Agency
The Transit Advisory Committee for the Delaware Area Transit Agency meets monthly to review, evaluate and consider public transit system issues and make recommendations to the Agency and the Delaware County Transit Board. The committee is made up of representatives from area service agencies and businesses and current transit riders and their family members.

TARTA-TMACOG Locally Coordinated Plan Steering Committee
The TARTA-TMACOG Locally Coordinated Plan Steering Committee was formed to assist in identifying transportation gaps and service duplications to meet the needs of human service, job access, senior citizens, individuals with disability, and public transit clients more effectively. The committee is made up of officials from transit authorities, transportation providers (non-profit/profit), JFS, county, city, chamber of commerce, and MPO to look at the resources and expertise of local human service agencies, transportation providers, human service/public transit clientele, and local governments to better understand the provisions and needs in Lucas and Wood Counties. The committee meets periodically and will be instrumental in the update of the locally coordinated plan. The committee will also work to better understand coordination opportunities through mobility management, regional one-stop shop information, shared transportation technologies, shared training, cooperative purchasing, and shared rides.

Mobility Alliance of Northwest Ohio
A 501(c)(3) nonprofit governed by a 7 member Board of Directors. The mission and purpose of the Mobility Alliance of Northwest Ohio is to support public transportation and raise the awareness of its importance. The organization is formed in three categories; Education, Access and Environment. The Mobility Alliance of Northwest Ohio works with transportation and transit users, taxpayers, business community, stakeholders, and media outlets to bring about a positive understanding of the mobility options and the commitment to provide the best possible service to the community. The long-term goal is established to create an effective, efficient and coordinated approach to meet the current and future local and regional transportation needs for Northwest Ohio citizens, agencies and businesses. Current Board of Director representation includes Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority, Senior Centers, Inc., Zepf Center, Assistance Dogs of America, Inc., Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission, The Ability Center of Greater Toledo, The Northwestern Ohio Chapter of the National MS Society, and communities of Northwest Ohio.

Citizens Advisory Council
The Citizens Advisory Council, formed by PARTA, is made up of representatives from a variety of local human services organizations, local governments, and consumers. The 15 member panel meets quarterly. The group provides a community sounding board both to PARTA - as a whole - and to its coordinated transportation efforts. A new 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a separate Board of Directors will be assuming a larger, more specific role with PARTA's coordination efforts, which are an outgrowth of its United We Ride research program.

Transportation Advisory Council
The Transportation Advisory Council in Pike County meets quarterly to address the transportation needs of Pike County.  The group is comprised of representatives from transportation providers, human service agencies and local government.  The goal of the TAC is to identify transportation providers as well as gaps in transportation services and then coordinate linkages between the two.

Hancock Area Transportation Services Transit Advisory Committee
TAC is an advisory committee that meets quarterly. Members represent government, private industry, agencies who support the service, funders, riders and HHWP Community Action Commission staff members. The committee is a subcommittee of the CAC Board of Directors. Each meeting includes distribution of minutes, highlights of the recent quarter, a fiscal report, old business, new business and announcements.
