Circuit Rider Program 

The Circuit Rider program has been designed to deliver free on-site training to employees of local government agencies in Ohio (county, city, village, or township).  Upon request, the Circuit Rider instructors will travel to local agency facilities to teach introductory classes (2 to 3 hours) that provide an overview of basic concepts.  The current class topics are: Snow & Ice Control; Work Zone Traffic Control & Safety; Workplace Safety; Working With Other Generations; and Working With Other Personality Types.

 In order to schedule a class, the local host agency must be able to provide:

• A minimum of 15 students who will attend (may invite employees from other local agencies, if needed).  The maximum number of students for one class is approximately 50.
• A meeting room, with tables and chairs, that is suitable for conducting a training class with a PowerPoint presentation.  It is helpful to have a projection screen or blank wall available, along with an LCD projector.  The instructor can bring a portable projector if needed. 

For agencies that have hosted LTAP Circuit Rider training in the past and would like to have their employees repeat a class as a 'refresher' session, we generally prefer to wait at least 18 to 24 months before providing the same class topic again to the same employees.  (Please check your agency's training records to verify before scheduling.)
