MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
ODOT requires the following qualifications for an applicant to be considered for the Engineer-In-Training Program.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN CIVIL ENGINEERING from an ABET Accredited University. CLICK HERE TO LINK TO ABET

COLLEGE GRADUATE or graduating Fall 2011 through June 30, 2012 to qualify for the Fiscal Year 2013 EIT Program.

FUNDAMENTALS OF ENGINEERING EXAM: 1. Have taken and passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam administered by Ohio's State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Surveyors, 2. Have taken and passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam administered by a different state that Ohio's board has provided reciprocity, or 3. Have received written acceptance to take the exam.
