Interstate 75 from the Auglaize County line to just north of SR 81 in Allen County and through the city of Lima will undergo a significant reconstruction beginning in 2012 through 2015.

The project will be constructed in three projects:  
  • Project 1 - Replacement of the Fourth Street and Reservoir Road bridges over Interstate 75 (completes spring of 2013)
  • Project 2 - Reconstruction of the north segment of the mainline of Interstate 75 from Fourth Street to State Route 81 (spring 2013 to fall 2015) including a safety upgrade to SR117/309 on Lima's east side in 2013.
  • Project 3 - Reconstruction of the south segment of the mainline of Interstate 75 from Fourth Street to the Auglaize County line (spring 2014 to fall 2015)

 Latest Project Information

 
Project 2 Project Updates - This project begins in spring of 2013 and continues through fall of 2015. The project will reconstruct the existing lanes of Interstate 75 in Lima from Fourth Street to just north of Ohio 81. This phase also includes the reconstruction of the Fourth Street, Ohio 81 and Ohio 117/309 interchanges and a safety upgrade to Ohio 309 east of the Interstate 75 interchange.
