The following is work scheduled to occur on
state highways within the Ohio Department of Transportation District 1, which
includes the counties of Allen, Defiance, Hancock, Hardin, Paulding, Putnam,
Van Wert and Wyandot. The schedule of work is dependent upon weather
conditions, and unless otherwise noted, work will take place during daytime

75 southbound between state Route 81 and
state Route 309, in the city of Lima, will be restricted to one lane on Oct.
31 for two days to set up the work zone for slope repair. Lane restrictions
will occur during both day and nighttime hours, with the exception of 2-6
p.m. both days. The shoulder will be closed for the repairs for approximately
75 southbound, south of state Route 65, Lima,
will be restricted to one lane on Tuesday, Nov. 5 from 6 a.m. to noon for
pavement repairs. Work is being performed
by the Shelly Company, Findlay.
Interstate 75 at state Route 65, Lima, will experience
shoulder closures in each direction through the work zone for erosion repair
at the interchange. All ramps at the interchange and all four lanes of
Interstate 75 are expected to be maintained throughout the project. Work is
being performed by Miller Contracting Group, Inc., Ottoville.
U.S. 30 at state
Beaverdam, and at Bentley Road will be restricted to one lane in each
direction through the work zone for erosion repair. All ramps at state Route
696 are expected to be maintained throughout the project. Work is being
performed by Miller Contracting Group, Inc., Ottoville.
Route 103 (Jefferson Street) over Riley Creek, between
Huber Street and Vance Street within the village of Bluffton, is now open
following a bridge replacement. Lane restrictions are expected to occur
through the work zone for finish work. The bridge replacement project is
being performed by Eagle Bridge Company, Sidney.
State Route 117 between Bowman Road in Allen
County and the Hardin County line in Auglaize County, excluding the community
of Westminster, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for
pavement resurfacing. Work is being performed by the Shelly Company, Findlay.
State Route 117 between Eastown
Road and the village of Spencerville will be restricted to one lane through
the work zone for pavement repairs. Work is being performed by the ODOT Allen
County maintenance garage.

25 for approximately nine months for a full replacement.
Route 18 truck route (Meuse Argonne Street) between Elm
Street and Main Street, within the village of Hicksville, closed July 29 for
a railroad overpass replacement. State Route 18 (Main Street) is unaffected
for passenger vehicles, but truck traffic must detour due to a low-clearance
overpass on Main Street. Truck traffic must detour onto Elm Street, Meuse
Argonne Street, Industrial Drive, state Route 49, and state Route 2 back to
state Route 18. Work is being performed by Safety Services Supply. (see
Route 18 between the villages of Hicksville and Sherwood is
now open following the replacement of two culverts.

U.S. 68/state Route 15 traffic
will begin travelling on the new bridge over Lima Avenue as early as Friday, Nov.
1. U.S. 68/state Route 15 through
traffic is expected to be shifted off temporary pavement and onto the new
bridge over Lima Avenue on Friday, Nov. 1. The traffic switch onto the new
bridge will allow for additional work on the Lima Avenue roundabout to occur
Lima Avenue will remain closed
to through traffic through December 2019. The four ramps at the Lima Avenue
interchange will remain open after the traffic switch, but they may be closed
temporarily for a short time during the traffic switch.
Interstate 75 in both directions between
state Route 12 and county Road 99 will have lane restrictions for finish
work. Beaver Construction, Canton, serves as the general contractor for the
Lima Avenue ramp to U.S.
68/state Route 15 southbound
will close on November 6 for two days to complete pavement on the shoulder of
the ramp. Traffic will be detoured on
to county Road 9, state Route 12, Interstate 75 and onto U.S. 68/state Route
68 between county Road 60 and state Route 701, south of the village of
Dunkirk, will close Monday, Nov. 4 for approximately ten days for a culvert
replacement. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 81, state Route 235,
state Route 309, and state Route 701 back to U.S. 68.(see map) Work is being
performed by the ODOT Hardin County maintenance garage.
24 eastbound between U.S. 127 and county Road
133, will be restricted to one lane for pavement repairs. Work is being
performed by the ODOT Paulding County maintenance garage.
Route 66 at county Road 148, north of the
village of Oakwood will be restricted to one lane for the replacement of a
culvert. County Road 148 is closed at state Route 66. Work is being performed
by the ODOT Paulding County maintenance garage.
Route 111 between Grant Street and Dix
Street within the village of Paulding will close on Nov. 18 for 5 weeks for sanitary
line installation. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 49, U.S. 24,
state Route 127 and back to state Route 111.
Route 189 between county Road 18-R and township Road 17-S,
near Vaughnsville, will close on Monday, Oct. 28 for approximately 10 days
for the replacement of a culvert.
Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 634, U.S. 224, state Route 115 and
back to state Route 189.(see map) Work is being
performed by the ODOT Putnam County maintenance garage.
VAN WERT COUNTY
30 under U.S. 224, northwest of
the city of Van Wert, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone
for pavement repairs. Work is being performed by the ODOT Van Wert County
State Route 67 at state Route 231 will close
on Monday Oct. 21 is open following a railroad repair.
