A statement of findings detailing the results of the final floodplain analysis will be made available on the ODOT District 1 environmental website:
http://www.dot.state.oh.us/districts/D01/PlanningPrograms/Pages/environmental.aspx

No road closures or detours will be necessary during these routine maintenance activities. This project is scheduled to occur in the spring of 2018.

Hardin County
State Route 67-10.87 (PID: 96800) – This project proposes to replace the culvert carrying an unnamed tributary of Batchlet Run under state Route 67 at mile marker 10.87.  This project will also include elevating the roadway surface near the state Route 67 and township Road 119 intersection in order to alleviate sight distance issues.

Traffic on state Route 67 will be detoured during construction; however, access to properties within the construction limits will be maintained. Construction for this project is scheduled to occur in the spring of 2019.

Putnam County
State Route 190-4.28 (PID: 103942) – This project proposes to rebuild portions of the existing pavement on state Route 190 from the northern corporate limit of the village of Fort Jennings to the U.S. Route 224 intersection. After portions of the roadway are rebuilt, the roadway will be resurfaced.

During the rebuilding phase of this project, roadway closures are expected and traffic will be detoured; however, access to properties within the construction limits will be maintained.  Construction is scheduled to occur in the summer of 2017.

Van Wert County
Jefferson Street Bridge (PID: 101085) – This project proposes to replace the bridge carrying Jefferson Street over Town Creek in the city of Van Wert. During construction, vehicular traffic will be detoured; however, access to all properties within the construction limits will be maintained.

A portion of the construction activities associated with this project will occur within the southeastern corner of Fountain Park and a small portion of a walkway connecting Fountain Park to the Jefferson Street sidewalk will be reconstructed. Fountain Park is a designated public recreational property owned and maintained by the city of Van Wert. As a designated public recreational property, it is afforded protection under federal law. The use of federal funds requires measures be developed to minimize harm, and advance public notice be given of impacts to these recreational properties.

A small portion of the walkway connecting the southeastern portion of Fountain Park to the Jefferson Street sidewalk will be closed during construction. Fountain Park will still be accessible from Jefferson Street during construction via the other existing access points.

Work on this structure will occur in a regulated floodplain. Impacts to this floodplain is anticipated to be minor and result in no rise in localized flood levels. A statement of findings detailing the results of the final floodplain analysis will be made available on the ODOT District 1 environmental website:
http://www.dot.state.oh.us/districts/D01/PlanningPrograms/Pages/environmental.aspx

Construction is scheduled to occur in the spring of 2019.

Wyandot County
U.S. Route 23/state Route 53-13.70/15.05 (PID: 99297) – This project proposes to repair the state Route 53 bridge over U.S. 23 in Wyandot County and flatten the slopes on state Route 53 between the interchange ramps and the bridge to limit the need for guardrail, based on results of a safety and engineering study performed for this location.

Traffic on state Route 53 will be detoured during construction. Construction is scheduled to occur in the summer of 2018.
