ODOT seeking public comment on projects

LIMA (Jan. 25, 2018)The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District 1, in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Executive Order 11988, is seeking public comments regarding the following proposed projects:
Districtwide projects
Bridge maintenance project (PID: 96616)
ODOT is proposing routine maintenance activities on bridges in Allen and Van Wert Counties.

There will be repair work on the southbound entrance ramp to Interstate 75 from Bluelick Road in Allen County. This repair work will result in temporary ramp closures. Vehicular traffic will be detoured. Access to all properties will be maintained throughout construction.
Repair work at the bridges on U.S. 30 over U.S. 127/U.S. 224 in Van Wert County will require the temporary roadway closure of the westbound entrance ramp onto U.S. 30 from U.S. 127/U.S. 224 and the eastbound exit ramp from U.S. 30 to U.S. 127/U.S. 224. Vehicular traffic will be detoured. Access to all properties will be maintained throughout construction.
Construction for this project is scheduled to occur in the spring of 2018.
Hancock County
State Route 37 bridge replacement (PID: 98515)
ODOT is proposing to replace the existing structure on state Route 37 over Lynn Creek (mile marker 17.58) with a new extended structure. In addition, earthwork along the shoulder of the roadway will eliminate the need for guard rail.
Replacement of the bridge will result in temporary roadway closure. Vehicular traffic will be detoured. Access to all properties will be maintained throughout construction.
Construction is scheduled to occur in the summer of 2020.
