SR15 (Clinton Street) lane restrictions delayed until next week; U.S. 24 to be restricted at Baltimore Road

Defiance County
Ohio 15 (Clinton Street) on the bridge over the Maumee River in the city of Defiance will be restricted to one lane through the work zone beginning Tuesday, March 1 for soil borings. Some related work will occur on Monday, February 29 near the bridge but is not expected to affect traffic on Ohio 15.
The restriction on Ohio 15 will affect both the northbound and southbound directions, one direction at a time, depending on where work is occurring.
The restriction will continue for approximately two weeks, generally between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. No work will occur over the weekends.
This work was originally scheduled to occur this week but was postponed due to equipment and weather issues. Work is being performed by Burgess & Niple, Columbus.
U.S. 24 westbound at Baltimore Road will be reduced to one lane through a short area beginning Tuesday, March 1 through Thursday, March 3 for soil borings in preparation for a future roadside repair project. The lane restriction will be in place during daytime hours only, generally between 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Work is being performed by the Ohio Department of Transportation Office of Geotechnical Engineering, Columbus.
