The following traffic impacts related to the reconstruction are in effect or will occur in the upcoming weeks:

Interstate 75

- Both the northbound and southbound lanes are narrowed and shifted approaching the U.S. 224 interchange.

-For two nights beginning the night of June 2 and continuing until early morning on June 4, generally between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. each day, short-term stops of traffic on Interstate 75 will occur during setting of bridge beams on the U.S. 224 structure. Both northbound and southbound traffic will be affected on the first night. Only northbound traffic will be affected the second night. Law enforcement will slow traffic approaching the interchange and direct traffic onto the exit ramps at the U.S. 224 interchange. Traffic on the ramps will then be allowed to turn onto U.S. 224 or proceed onto the entrance ramp to re-enter I-75. Traffic at the ramp intersections with U.S. 224 will be controlled by law enforcement officers. Traffic on U.S. 224 will be allowed to cross the bridge over I-75 during this time as well. Traffic stops on I-75 are expected to last up to 20 minutes at which time traffic will be allowed to clear out before the next stoppage occurs. Following the beam setting lane restrictions will continue for the rest of the week both northbound and southbound for overhead work at the bridge. Restrictions will occur between 8 p.m. and 10 a.m.
