State Route 12 (North Main Street) over the Blanchard River, Findlay, will be reduced to one lane southbound during daytime hours on March 2 for removal of debris from the base of the bridge piers. Work is expected to be completed in one day. Work is being performed by the ODOT roadway services department.
U.S. 68 in the village of Dunkirk will close March 1 for approximately one week for an emergency rail repair. Traffic detoured onto state Route 81, state Route 235 and U.S. 30 back to U.S. 68. Work is being performed by CF&E Railroad.
County Road 155 between Township Road 180 and U.S. 68 over Taylor Creek, Kenton, will close March 6 for approximately 60 days for a bridge replacement project. Traffic detoured onto U.S. 68 and township Road 180 back to county Road 155. Work is being performed by J&J Schlaegel Inc., Urbana.
The project is funded through the Ohio Bridge Partnership Program which is administered by the Ohio Department of Transportation and provides for the repair or replacement of municipal and county bridges.
Van Wert County
State Route 118 between township Road 260 and state Route 81 will close March 6 for approximately three weeks for replacement of four culverts. Traffic detoured onto state Route 81 and U.S. 33 back to state Route 118. Work is being performed by the ODOT Van Wert County maintenance garage.
