Week of Nov. 11, 2019
The following is work scheduled to occur on state highways within the Ohio Department of Transportation District 1, which includes the counties of Allen, Defiance, Hancock, Hardin, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert and Wyandot. The schedule of work is dependent upon weather conditions, and unless otherwise noted, work will take place during daytime hours.

Interstate 75 southbound between state Route 81 and state Route 309, in the city of Lima, will experience shoulder closures forapproximately four weeks for slope repairs. Work is being performed by Beaver Excavating, Canton.
State Route 117 between Eastown Road and the village of Spencerville will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repairs. Work is being performed by the ODOT Allen County maintenance garage.

U.S. 24 westbound near county Road 424 (Baltimore Street), west of the city of Defiance, will experience shoulder closures for retaining wall repair. Work is being performed by Mosser Construction, Fremont.
State Route 18 truck route (Meuse Argonne Street) between Elm Street and Main Street, within the village of Hicksville, closed July 29 fora railroad overpass replacement. State Route 18 (Main Street) is unaffected for passenger vehicles, but truck traffic must detour due to a low-clearance overpass on Main Street. Truck traffic must detour onto Elm Street, Meuse Argonne Street, Industrial Drive, state Route 49, and state Route 2 back to state Route 18. Work is being performed by Safety Services Supply. · Interstate 75 in both directions between state Route 12 and county Road 99 will have lane restrictions for finish work. Beaver Construction, Canton, serves as the general contractor for the project.
State Route 15, between Findlay and Vanlue, will be restricted to one lane in both directions for bridge repairs at two locations. Work is being performed by the ODOT Hancock County maintenance garage.
State Route 385, west of the village of Roundhead, will be restricted to one lane for pavement repairs. Work is being performed by the ODOT Hardin County maintenance garage.
U.S. 68 between county Road 60 and state Route 701, south of the village of Dunkirk, is open following a culvert replacement.
State Route 66 at county Road 148, north of the village of Oakwood, is now open following a culvert replacement.
State Route 111 between township Road 51 and township Road 61, east of the village of Paulding, will on close on Friday, Nov. 8 for approximately 2 days for crane relocation. Traffic will be detoured on to state Route 49, state Route 500 and back to state Route111. (see map) Work is being performed by Timber Road Wind Farm.
State Route 111 between Grant Street and Dix Street within the village of Paulding will close on Nov. 18 for 5 weeks for sanitary line installation. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 49, U.S. 24, state Route 127 and back to state Route 111. (see map)
State Route 189 between county Road 18-R and township Road 17-S, near Vaughnsville, is now open following a culvert replacement.
There are no major projects expected to affect highways in Putnam County during the week of November 11.
VAN WERT COUNTY
U.S. 224, south of U.S. 30, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for erosion repair. Work is being performed by the ODOT Van Wert County maintenance garage.
There are no major projects expected to affect highways in Wyandot County during the week of November 11.
