through Saturday, November 19
Through Saturday, November 19, ODOT is rerouting northbound I-75 traffic to southbound I-280. Northbound I-75 traffic will then exit onto temporary ramps at Central Avenue, and then back northbound I-280 to return to northbound I-75.
A minimum of two lanes of traffic will be maintained throughout the rerouting including the ramp from northbound I-75 to I-280, and ramp from Central Avenue to I-280.
The Central Avenue bridge over I-280 is closed to local traffic to allow for continuous movement of I-75 traffic over the Central Avenue bridge. Local traffic can use Lagrange Street to Greenbelt Parkway to Galena Street. The Central Avenue bridge over I-280 will remain open to pedestrians during this time.
Northbound I-75 Reroute
NB I-75 will be rerouted onto SB I-280, exit at Central Avenue, then get onto NB I-280, back to NB I-75.
I-75 Northbound Alternate Route
For motorists wishing to by-pass Toledo, use SR 795 (Exit 195) to Northbound I-280 to I-75.

WHY MUST THE REROUTE TAKE PLACE:
The closure will take place to ensure the safety of drivers and workers.
The reroute is necessary because of constructability issues related to soil conditions. ODOT determined the reroute would have the least amount of impact to traffic and minimize substantial delays in the project.
Rerouting will allow ODOT to safely build two bridges located on northbound I-75.
keeps the I-75/I-280 interchange project on schedule for completion in 2017.
