 Construction Information

 
Interstate 75: Widening 
Wood & Hancock Counties (170-14, 199-14, 237-14 & 3000-14):
Interstate Restrictions
Through 2016, southbound I-75 is reduced to two lanes from US 20 to I-475 Perrysburg.  Through September, overnight from 8pm until 6am, single lane restrictions and traffic shifts are possible on I-75, from US 20 in Perrysburg to CR 99 in Hancock County, for pavement repair and barrier wall installation.  Through 2016, 11-foot lane width restrictions are in place on I-75 between US 20 in Perrysburg to CR 99 in Hancock County. 
 
State/Local Route Restrictions
·         Through November, SR 582 is reduced to one lane over I-75 for slope repair.  Traffic is maintained by signal. 
·         Through November, Bays Road at I-75, and Jerry City Road, I-75 are closed for bridge work.  Detour:  SR 25; SR 281; Solether Road. 
Additional restrictions will be announced.  Project complete: August 2017.  All work is weather permitting.
 
Interstate 475: Resurfacing Project *WEEKEND LANE RESTRICTIONS*
Lucas and Wood Counties (32-14): Through October, overnight from 7pm until 6am, lane restrictions are possible on I-475, from SR 25 to US 20A, for resurfacing.   On Friday, September 12, at 7pm through Monday, September 15, at 6am, southbound I-475, from US 24 to SR 25 will be reduced to one lane for bridge work.  Delays are possible.  Project complete: October.  All work is weather permitting.
 
Interstate 280: Resurfacing and Bridge Repair 
Wood County (174-13):
  Through November, both directions of I-280, between Ayers Road and Woodville Road, are reduced to one lane with an 11 foot lane width restriction for bridge work. Project complete: November.  All work is weather permitting. 
 
U.S. Route 6: Railroad Repair *UPDATE*
Wood County: Effective Monday, September 15, through Friday, September 19, US 6, in both directions between Range Line Road and SR 235, will be closed for railroad repair.  Detour: SR 25; SR 281; SR 235.  All work is weather permitting.
State Route 18: Resurfacing
Wood County (402-14):
Through October, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on SR 18 from Mitchel Road in North Baltimore to Rose Street in Bloomdale; work includes resurfacing on SR 18 in North Baltimore.  Through September, SR 18 at I-75 may be reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge work.  Project complete: November.  All work is weather permitting. 
 
State Route 64: Signal Upgrade
Wood County (90-14):  Effective Monday, September 22, through November, weekday intermittent lane restrictions are possible on Wooster Street (SR 64), from Dunbridge Road to Thurstin Avenue.   Intermittent weekday lane restrictions are also possible on SR 25 at Newton Road.  Project complete: November.  All work is weather permitting. 
 
State Route 65: Resurfacing & Bridge Work
Wood County (159-14): Through November, lane restrictions are possible on SR 65, from W. Boundary Street (SR 25) to SR 64 (Waterville bridge), for resurfacing.  Effective Monday, September 22, through mid-October, SR 65, between W. Boundary Street (SR 25) and Fort Meigs Road, will be closed for resurfacing. Detour:  SR 25; SR 582; SR 64.  Project complete:  November.  All work is weather permitting
 
State Route 281: Culvert Replacement
Wood County (193-14): Through September, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on SR 281, between Henry/Wood County Line and Weston Road, for finish work.  Project complete: October.  All work is weather permitting.
 
State Route 420: Safety Improvements
Wood County (423-14): Through November, northbound SR 420, between SR 163 to I-280, is reduced to one lane for widening.  Restrictions on southbound SR 420 will be announced.  Project complete: July 2015.  All work is weather permitting.
 
State Route 795: Intersection Safety Improvement *NEW PROJECT*
Wood County (8022-14):
  Effective Monday, September 15, through November, SR 795 from Simmons Road to Crossroads Parkway/Clark Drive, will be reduced to one lane for turn lane installation.  Additional restrictions at the intersection of SR 795 and Crossroads Parkway/Clark Drive will be announced.   Project complete: November.  All work is weather permitting. 
Gypsy Lane Road: Bridge Repair
Wood County: Through December, Gypsy Lane Road over I-75 is closed for bridge repair.   Detour: Dunbridge Road; Napoleon Road; Campbell Hill Road.  All work is weather permitting. 
 
Various Routes: County Bridge Replacement *UPDATE*
Wood County (3013-14):
The following bridges are closed for replacement:
·         Through September, Range Line Road, between Cygnet Road and Hammansburg Road, will be closed for bridge replacement.  Detour: Cygnet Road; SR 235; Hammansburg Road. 
·         Effective Monday, September 22, through November, Mermill Road, between SR 25 and I-75, will be closed.  Detour: SR 25; SR 281; Huffman Road. 
·         Effective Monday September 22, through December, Jerry City Road, between Emerson Road and Lenhard Road will be closed.  Detour: Emerson Road, Cygnet Road; SR 199. 
 
Additional bridges and restrictions will be announced.  Project complete: December.  All work is weather permitting.
