Interstate 475 Salisbury Road/Dussel Drive Project 

Bowling Green: (104-09) The Ohio Department of Transportation District Two today announces the award of the Interstate 475 Salisbury Road/Dussel Drive Project in Lucas County.

The contract was awarded to Miller Bros. Const. Inc, of Archbold, Ohio. The contractor will build a new bridge over Interstate 475, add two interchange loops and widen Salisbury Road and Dussel Drive. Once complete, the project will allow for better traffic flow in the congested Maumee business area.

The project bid was $24,291,649, or 9% lower than the engineer’s estimate of $26,700,000. Construction will begin this May and is scheduled for completion November 2011.
