BOWLING GREEN (Tuesday, April 20, 2010) – The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces the following update to the I-475-Salisbury Road/Dussel Drive project in Lucas County. Updates are highlighted in bold and underlined.
3. Interstate 475/Salisbury Road-Dussel Drive: Interchange Reconstruction/Major Widening
Lucas County (104-09): Interchange reconstruction of the bridge over I-475 and widening of Salisbury Road/Dussel Drive between Manley Road to Osage Drive. Throughout the project, nightly between 8pm and 6am, expect intermittent lane and shoulder restrictions on I-475 at the Salisbury Road/Dussel Drive bridge. Through 2011, Salisbury Road/Dussel Drive, from Manley Road to Osage Drive, is reduced to one lane in both directions, with turn lanes at intersections and access to ramps to and from I-475. Access to all businesses will be maintained throughout the project.
On Monday, April 26 at approximately 6am through Monday, May 10, Ford Street, just north of Dussel Drive, will be closed. Detour: Indian Wood Circle; Arrowhead Drive. Access to all businesses will be maintained.
Following completion of the work on Ford Street north of Dussel Drive, Arrowhead Drive, north of Dussel Drive, will be closed for approximately 14 days.
Project complete: November 2011. All work is weather permitting.
