Interstate 475-Salisbury Road-Dussel Drive Project
Bowling Green: The Ohio Department of Transportation District Two announces the following update to the I-475 Salisbury Road/Dussel Drive Project. Updates are highlighted and in bold.
5. Interstate 475 /Salisbury Road-Dussel Drive: Interchange Reconstruction/Major Widening Lucas County (104-09): Interchange reconstruction of the bridge over I-475 and widening of Salisbury Road/Dussel Drive between Manley Road to just east of Osage Drive. Motorists should expect daytime work in the areas around the I-475 exit ramps and medians, work will not restrict traffic. Throughout the project, nightly between 8pm and 6am, expect intermittent lane and shoulder restrictions on I-475 at the Salisbury/Dussel bridge. Beginning, Tuesday evening, July 14th, through Thursday morning, July 16, nightly from 8pm to 6am, motorists should expect nightly lane closures on I-475 at the Salisbury/Dussel bridge, for bridge construction.
Through 2011, Dussel Drive, between Arrowhead Road and Osage Drive, is reduced to one lane in each direction, with turn lanes at intersections. Through 2011, Salisbury Road, from I-475 to Manley Road, is restricted to one lane in each direction, with turn lanes at intersections. Beginning Tuesday, July 14, at 8pm, work will begin on the construction of a median on Dussel Drive and Salisbury Road, from Arrowhead Road to I-475. Upon completion, beginning Wednesday morning, July 15 through 2011, motorist can expect Dussel Drive, from Osage Drive, through Salisbury Road, at Manley Road, to be reduced to one lane in both directions, with turn lanes at intersections and access to ramps to and from I-475.
Access to all businesses will be maintained throughout the project. Project complete: November 2011. All work is weather permitting.
