Interstate 75 Pavement/Bridge Repair Project

Bowling Green:  ODOT District Two announces the following updates to the I-75 pavement and bridge repair project.  Due to the weather sensitive nature of the pavement repair, work is subject to be rescheduled.  Updates are highlighted in bold and underlined. 

2. Interstate 75: Pavement Repair / Bridge Repair *UPDATED WEEKEND WORK ANNOUNCED*

Lucas County (1070-09):  Through September 2009, nightly from 9pm until 6am, I-75 in both directions, between Central Avenue and Cecelia Avenue, will be reduced to one lane for pavement repair and resurfacing.

Beginning Thursday, September 10 at 7pm through Friday, September 11 at 6am, the ramp from Lagrange Avenue (South Expressway Drive) to northbound I-75 will be closed for pavement repair.  Alternate route:  Stickney Avenue, North Expressway Drive; southbound I-75, Phillips Avenue, northbound I-75. 

Beginning Friday, September 11 at 9pm through Monday, September 14 at 6am, I-75 will be reduced to one lane in both directions, from Central Avenue to Cecelia Avenue. for pavement repair and resurfacing.  Additionally on Friday, September 11 from 9pm through Monday, September 14 at 6am, the ramp from Stickney Avenue (North Expressway Drive) to southbound I-75 and the ramp from southbound I-75 to Lagrange Street (Exit 207) will be closed.  Alternate routes will be posted.

Beginning Monday evening, September 14 through Monday morning, September 28, weeknights (Monday evening through Saturday morning), from 9pm until 6am, the ramp from southbound I-75 to southbound I-280 will be closed for bridge repair.  Detour:  Phillips Avenue; northbound I-75, southbound I-280.

Additional ramp work and interstate work for the weekend of Friday, September 19 through Monday, September 21 will be announced.  Project complete: November 2009.  All work is weather permitting.
