BOWLING GREEN (Wednesday, July 20, 2016) - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces the following update to the SR 65 Craig Bridge repair project in Lucas County. Updates are highlighted in bold and underlined:

State Route 65: Bridge Deck Repairs
Lucas County (1056-15):  Effective Thursday, July 21, from 9am until 3pm and on Friday, July 22 at 9am through Monday, July 25 at noon, the Craig Memorial Bridge/SR 65 will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic for bridge repair.  Detour: Front Street; Main Street/Cherry Street; Summit Street.  Marine access will be maintained.
Through July, expect lane and shoulder restrictions on the Robert Craig Memorial Bridge/SR 65 in Toledo for bridge repair.  Additional restrictions may be announced.  Project complete: August.  All work is weather permitting.
The Ohio Department of Transportation maintains the state's largest man-made asset--the transportation system. ODOT's mission is to provide the safe and easy movement of people and goods from place to place. As a $2.8 billion per year enterprise, ODOT invests the bulk of its resources in system preservation through maintenance, construction and snow and ice operations.
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
