Interstate 475: Bridge Widening Project

BOWLING GREEN (Monday, July 08, 2013) - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces the start of the I-475 bridge widening project.  This two-year $11.8 million dollar project will widen the I-475 bridge over the Ohio Turnpike.  Once complete, the project will add shoulders and lane capacity to the bridge and accommodate future widening of Interstate 475.

Lucas County (251-13):
  Effective, Monday, July 22, through August, overnight, 7pm until 6am, lane restrictions are possible on I-475 from Salisbury Road/Dussel Drive to Airport Highway.   Effective Thursday, July 11, through August, overnight shoulder restrictions are possible on the Ohio Turnpike (I-80/I-90) at the I-475 bridge.  On Monday, July 15 through June 2015, Manley Road at the Ohio Turnpike bridge will be closed.  Detour:  Garden Road; Holloway Road; Salisbury Road.  Project complete:  June 2015.
