Interstate 475 Resurfacing and Bridge Project
BOWLING GREEN (Wednesday, July 13, 2016) - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces the following update to the I-475 resurfacing and bridge project in Lucas County. Updates are highlighted in bold and underlined:
Interstate 475: Resurfacing and Bridge Project
Lucas County (58-16): Effective Monday, July 18, through Sunday, July 24, nightly from 9pm until 5am, the following ramps may be closed for resurfacing:
· From eastbound I-475 to Corey Road (Exit 15). Detour: Secor Road (Exit 17); Central Avenue.
· From Corey Road to westbound I-475. Detour: Central Avenue; Secor Road.
· From westbound I-475 to Monroe Street (Exit 18A). Detour: Secor Road (Exit 17); Central Avenue.
· From Monroe Street to eastbound I-475. Detour: Central Avenue; Secor Road.
Additional ramp closures will be announced.
Through September, 11-foot lane width restrictions are in place on I-475 over Secor Road (Exit 17) for bridge work. Through September, overnight from 8pm until 6am, single lane restrictions are possible on I-475, between the US 23 interchange and Douglas Road, for resurfacing. Additional restrictions may be announced. Project complete: October. All work is weather permitting.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
