Interstate 475/U.S. Route 23 Interchange Upgrade
BOWLING GREEN (Thursday, January 28, 2016) - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces the following update to the I-475/US 23 interchange upgrade project. Updates are highlighted in bold and underlined:
Interstate 475/U.S. Route 23: Interchange Upgrade
Lucas County (184-14 & 210-15): Effective Friday, January 29, from midnight until 6am, the dedicated lane from southbound US 23 to Central Avenue (Exit 13) will be closed for sign installation. Detour: eastbound I-475; Corey Road (Exit 15); westbound I-475; Central Avenue (Exit 13). The new ramp from westbound I-475 to Central Avenue (Exit 13) will remain open.
Through May, southbound US 23 traffic is reduced to one lane from the I-475/US 23 split in Sylvania to Central Avenue. Overnight lane restrictions are possible at the interchange of I-475/US 23 from Central Avenue to N. Holland Sylvania Road. Project complete: June. All work is weather permitting.
