Interstate 475/U.S. Route 23 Interchange Upgrade
BOWLING GREEN (Wednesday, May 11, 2016) - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces the following update to the I-475/US 23 interchange upgrade project in Lucas County. Updates are highlighted in bold and underlined:
Interstate 475/U.S. Route 23: Interchange Upgrade
Lucas County (184-14): Effective Thursday, May 12, at 9pm, through Friday, May 13 at 6am, the ramp from westbound I-475 to northbound US 23 will be closed for resurfacing. Detour: southbound I-475; Central Ave (Exit 13). Additional ramp closures may be announced. Through May, southbound US 23 traffic is reduced to one lane from the I-475/US 23 split in Sylvania to Central Avenue. Overnight lane restrictions are possible at the interchange of I-475/US 23 from Central Avenue to N. Holland Sylvania Road. Project complete: June. All work is weather permitting.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
