Interstate 75/475 Interchange Upgrade
BOWLING GREEN (Tuesday, May 20, 2014) - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces the following update to the I-75/475 interchange upgrade project. Updates are highlighted in bold and underlined:
Interstate 75/475: Interchange Upgrade
Lucas County (281-10): Through June 2014, on Upton Avenue, between Georgia Avenue and Central Avenue and Central Avenue, between Upton Avenue and Jackman Road are reduced to one lane for finish work.
Effective Tuesday, May 20, through June, overnight, 7pm through 6am, lane restrictions are possible on I-475, from Monroe Street to I-75, and on I-75 from Detroit Avenue to Berdan Avenue for finish work.
The following work has been been rescheduled due to weather. On Thursday, May 22 at 10pm through Friday, May 23 at 5am, the following ramps will be closed:
· The ramp from northbound I-75 to westbound I-475 Detour: Philips Avenue (Exit 206); southbound I-75.
· The ramp from eastbound I-475 to southbound I-75. Detour: northbound I-75; Philips Avenue (Exit 206).
On Wednesday, May 21 at 10pm through Thursday, May 22 at 5am, The ramp from eastbound I-475 northbound I-75 will be closed: Detour: Southbound I-75; Detroit Avenue (Exit 203B).
Project complete: June. All work is weather permitting.
