Interstate 475 Maumee River Bridge Project
BOWLING GREEN (Wednesday, June 27, 2012) - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces the following update to the I-475 Maumee River bridge project.  Updates are highlighted in bold and underlined.

**All lanes in both directions of I-475 in this work zone and ramps to/from US 24 to southbound I-475 are expected to be open, Monday July 2 through July 4 for the Fourth of July holiday.**
3. Interstate 475: Maumee River Bridge
Lucas & Wood Counties (90-11):
 Through Monday, July 2, both directions of I-475, between SR 65 and U.S. 24, are reduced to one lane for bridge work. Effective Sunday, July 1, through Monday, July 2, motorists can expect traffic shifts in this construction zone for barrier wall removal and striping. 
Through Monday, July 2, the ramps from eastbound and westbound US 24 to southbound I-475 are closed.  Detour: northbound I-475; Salisbury Road/Dussel Drive (Exit 6).  
Effective Thursday, July 5 through July, overnight, 7pm until 6am, and possible daytime, 9am until 3pm, lane restrictions are possible in both directions I-475, between SR 65 and U.S. 24, for paving, bridge painting and barrier wall installation.  
On Thursday July 5 through Saturday, July 7, overnight 7pm until 6am, short-term intermittent ramp closures are possible on the ramps to/from US 24 to/from I-475 for paving.  Traffic will be maintained by law enforcement.
Project complete: November.  All work is weather permitting.
