Interstate 280 Resurfacing and Bridge Repair
 
BOWLING GREEN (Monday, August 18, 2014) - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces the following update to the I-280 resurfacing and bridge repair project.  Updates are highlighted in bold and underlined:
Interstate 280: Resurfacing and Bridge Repair 
Wood County (174-13):
  Through November, both directions of I-280, between Ayers Road and Woodville Road, are reduced to one lane with an 11 foot lane width restriction for bridge work.  Beginning tonight at 10pm through Tuesday, August 19 at 5am, short-term intermittent ramp restrictions are possible for pavement repair on the following ramps:
  • The ramp from northbound I-280 to Walbridge Road (Exit 4).  Suggested alternate route: Woodville Road (Exit 6), Walbridge Road.  
  • The ramp from Walbridge Road to northbound I-280.  Suggested alternate route: Woodville Road; northbound I-280.  
Through August, the following ramps will be closed:
  • The ramp from southbound I-280 to Walbridge Road.  Detour: southbound I-280; eastbound SR 795; northbound I-280.
  • The ramp from Walbridge Road to southbound I-280. Detour: northbound I-280; northbound SR51; southbound I-280.
Project complete: November.  All work is weather permitting.
