Interstate 475 in Lucas County
BOWLING GREEN (Friday, November 4, 2011) – The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces the following update on the I-475 Maumee River bridge project in Lucas County. Updates are highlighted in bold and underlined.
ODOT anticipates the ramps from eastbound and westbound U.S. 24 to southbound I-475 to open at approximately 10pm tonight, November 4. Also, both lanes in both directions of I-475, between SR 65 and U.S. 24 are expected to be open by Saturday, November 5 at approximately 6pm. All work is weather permitting.
Interstate 475: Maumee River Bridge
Lucas County: (90-11): Through tonight, November 4 at approximately 10pm, both directions of I-475, between SR 65 and U.S. 24, are reduced to one lane for bridge work. Through tonight, November 4, at approximately 10pm, the ramps from eastbound and westbound U.S. 24 to southbound I-475 are closed for bridge work. Detour: northbound I-475; Salisbury Road/Dussel Drive (Exit 6); southbound I-475.
Effective tonight, November 4 at 10pm through Saturday, November 5 at 6pm, lane restrictions are possible on northbound I-475, between SR 65 and U.S. 24, for barrier wall removal.
Lane and ramp restrictions will resume in the spring of 2012.
Project complete: November 2012. All work is weather permitting.
