Interstate 475/U.S. 23 Resurfacing & Bridge Work UPDATE
BOWLING GREEN (Wednesday, August 15, 2012) - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces the following update concerning construction on the Interstate 475/U.S. 23 Resurfacing & Bridge project. Updates are highlighted in bold and underlined.
Interstate 475/U.S. 23 Resurfacing & Bridge Work
Lucas County (254-12):
  Through October, northbound US 23, between I-475 and Sylvania Avenue, will be reduced to one lane for bridge work. 
Beginning tonight, from 9pm, until 6am on Thursday, August 16, the ramp from southbound US 23 to eastbound I-475 will be closed for paving.  Detour: U.S. 23; U.S. 20; eastbound I-475. 
Thursday, August 16, from 9:00am to 3:00pm, the drive lane shoulder will be closed on southbound US-23, between Monroe Street and Central Avenue for slope repair.
On Thursday, August 16 from 9pm, until 6am on Friday, August 17, the ramp from westbound I-475 to southbound I-475/US-23 will be closed.  Suggested alternate route: northbound US-23; Monroe Street.
Through November, overnight 8pm until 6am, lane restrictions are possible in both directions of I-475/US 23, from Central Avenue to the Ohio/Michigan border for resurfacing. 
Through August, expect overnight, 8pm through 6am, lane restrictions on southbound I-475 at the Ohio Turnpike for bridge repair. 
Project complete: November.  All work is weather permitting.
