Interstate 475/U.S. 23 Resurfacing & Bridge Work UPDATE
 
BOWLING GREEN (Thursday, August 23, 2012) - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces the following update concerning construction on the Interstate 475/U.S. 23 resurfacing & bridge project. Updates are highlighted in bold and underlined.
9. Interstate 475/U.S. 23 Resurfacing & Bridge Work
Lucas County (254-12):
  Through October, northbound US 23, between I-475 and Sylvania Avenue, will be reduced to one lane for bridge work. 
Through November, overnight 8pm until 6am, lane restrictions are possible in both directions of I-475/US 23, from Central Avenue to the Ohio/Michigan border for resurfacing. 
Through September, overnight, 8pm through 6am, lane restrictions are possible in both directions of I-475 at the Ohio Turnpike for bridge repair. 
On Thursday, August 23 at 9pm, through Friday, August 24 at 6am, the ramp from westbound I-475 to southbound I-475/US-23 will be closed.  Suggested alternate route: northbound US 23; Monroe Street (Exit 234).
Project complete: November.  All work is weather permitting.
