Interstate 475/U.S. 23: Resurfacing & Bridge Work *UPDATE

BOWLING GREEN (Friday, September 28, 2012) - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces the following update concerning the Interstate 475/U.S. 23 resurfacing & bridge project in Lucas County.  Updates are highlighted in bold and underlined.
Interstate 475/U.S. 23: Resurfacing & Bridge Work *UPDATE*
Lucas County (254-12):
  Beginning tonight at 9pm through Saturday, September 29, at 4am, the ramp from southbound US 23 to I-475 eastbound will be closed.  Suggested alternate route: Central Avenue (Exit 13); northbound I-475. 
Beginning Sunday, September 30, at 6pm, through Monday, October 1 at 6am, expect short-term intermittent closures of the following ramps for paving:

-The ramp from northbound US 23 to Monroe Street (Exit 234).  Suggested alternate route: Sterns Road (Exit 1); southbound US 23. 
-The ramp from Monroe Street to northbound US 23.  Suggested alternate route: southbound US 23; Central Avenue (Exit 13). 
Through October, northbound US 23, between I-475 and Sylvania Avenue, is reduced to one lane for bridge work.  Through November, overnight 8pm until 6am, lane restrictions are possible in both directions of I-475/US 23, from Central Avenue to the Ohio/Michigan border for resurfacing. 
Project complete: November.  All work is weather permitting.
