Interstate 475/U.S. 23: Resurfacing & Bridge Work *UPDATE*
BOWLING GREEN (Wednesday, October 24, 2012) - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces the following update concerning the Interstate 475/U.S. 23 resurfacing & bridge project in Lucas County. Updates are highlighted in bold and underlined.
Interstate 475/U.S. 23: Resurfacing & Bridge Work
Lucas County (254-12): Beginning tonight, from 8pm until Thursday, October 25 at 6am, expect intermittent ramp restrictions on the following ramps. Only one ramp will close at a time.
· The ramp from northbound US 23 to Monroe Street (exit 234). Suggested alternative route: Sterns Road (exit 1); southbound US 23.
· The ramp from Monroe Street to northbound US 23. Suggested alternative route: southbound I-475; Central Avenue (exit 13).
· The ramp from Westbound I-475 to northbound US 23. Suggested alternative route: southbound I-475; Central Avenue (exit 13).
Through November, overnight 8pm until 6am, lane restrictions are possible in both directions of I-475/US 23, from Central Avenue to the Ohio/Michigan border for resurfacing. Both lanes of northbound US 23, between I-475 and Sylvania Avenue, are open. Project complete: November. All work is weather permitting.
