Interstate 75 Widening in Wood and Hancock Counties
 
BOWLING GREEN (Friday, September 23, 2011) - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two is soliciting comment as part of the environmental process, for the proposed widening of Interstate 75 to three lanes in each direction from County Road 99 in Findlay, Ohio to Interstate 475 in Perrysburg, Ohio.  The widening is proposed to take place in the median of the current Interstate 75 alignment.
 
The proposed schedule is to begin work in the year 2015.

Opportunity for Public Comment:
Comments are being solicited as a requirement of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1970.   
The National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) requires state and federal agencies to integrate environmental values into their decision making processes by considering the environmental impacts of their proposed actions and reasonable alternatives to those actions.
