Northbound Interstate 75/280 Rerouting
BOWLING GREEN (Wednesday, June 01, 2016) - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces the following update to the Interstate 75/280 rerouting project in Lucas County. Updates are highlighted in bold and underlined:
Interstate 75/280: Rerouting
Lucas County (536-14): Effective Friday, June 3, from 10am until 1pm, single lane restrictions are possible on the northbound I-75/280 reroute near Manhattan Avenue for barrier wall relocation.
Through December, northbound I-75 traffic is rerouted to southbound I-280 for bridge replacement. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained. Reroute: southbound I-280; Central Avenue; northbound I-280. Through December, Central Avenue, between Buckeye Street and Galena Street, is closed. Detour: Lagrange Street; Greenbelt Parkway; Galena Street. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
