Northbound Interstate 75 in Lucas County
**MAJOR INTERSTATE CLOSURE ANNOUNCEMENT**
BOWLING GREEN (Thursday, October 06, 2016) - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces the following update to the I-75 widening project in Lucas County. Over the weekend of October 21, ODOT will pave northbound I-75 in order to move traffic to the newly built Berdan Avenue bridge. This pavement work cannot be safely completed while maintaining traffic. The closure will only impact the northbound lanes of I-75 in Toledo.
Interstate 75: Weekend Closure
Lucas County (485-14, 536-14): Effective Friday, October 21 at 9pm, through Monday, October 24 at 6am, northbound I-75, between I-475 (Exit 204) and Phillips Avenue (Exit 206), will be closed for traffic pattern change. Detour: SR 795 (Exit 195); northbound I-280.
On Friday, October 21 at 9pm, the ramp from northbound I-75 to Berdan Avenue (Exit 205B) will be closed permanently. Detour: Phillips Avenue (Exit 206); Detroit Avenue; Berdan Avenue.
Following the northbound I-75 closure, the following ramps will re-open:
· The ramp from northbound I-75 to Jeep Parkway (Exit 205).
· The ramp from northbound I-75 to Phillips Avenue (Exit 206).
Should weather impact work, the closure will be rescheduled for the following weekend. All work is weather permitting.
