2 to Host Winter Seasonal Career Fairs
CDL drivers encouraged to apply online in advance
GREEN (Friday, September 20, 2019) - The days are getting shorter,
which means it is time for the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT)
to get ready for winter operations. ODOT District 2 is in search of
seasonal employees for the upcoming winter season and will host three
regional winter seasonal career fairs.
fair attendees will be able to apply for a winter seasonal position,
have a driving record check completed, take a required physical
abilities test and interview for the position.
snow is the primary job responsibility for winter seasonal positions.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent; a valid class
A or B commercial driver’s license (CDL), without air brake
restriction; and three months of training or experience in basic
are available in Fulton, Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca, Williams, and
Wood counties. Those interested in the career fair are encouraged to
apply in advance at careers.ohio.gov.
